The walkway to the Huron River at Merrill Park (on Merrill Road in Hamburg Michigan, 1/2 mile south of M-36), goes over a beautiful wetland area and ends with an elevated viewing area on the river. The Boardwalk isn't marked from the parking lot. As you face the Soccer fields you'll see a paved walkway pruning right and left, go to the right, stay on the pavement until it ends at the wood boardwalk, follow the boardwalk to the river.
